Journal Archiving

Advances in Aeronautical Science and Engineering (AASE) is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published research. Our goal is to ensure that scholarly contributions remain secure, discoverable, and accessible to the global scientific community for year even decade after publication.

1. Digital Archiving Systems

We collaborate with recognized archiving networks to safeguard our content through redundant, decentralized storage mechanisms:

  • LOCKSS
Utilizes a distributed network of libraries to store multiple copies of published content, ensuring preservation against data loss or corruption.
  • CLOCKSS
A global digital archive that guarantees access to research content even if the journal or publisher discontinues operations.

2. Institutional Repository Deposits

Authors are encouraged to archive the final published version of their articles in their institutional repositories. This not only boosts accessibility but also enhances:

  • Academic visibility
  • Citation potential
  • Compliance with funding body mandates

3. National Library Deposits

To comply with legal deposit requirements in India and other applicable regions, AASE ensures that all published issues are submitted to national libraries. This initiative secures the content for future generations of researchers and students.

4. Long-Term Access Guarantee

In the event that AASE discontinues publication, all previously published content will remain accessible through our digital preservation partners, such as LOCKSS and CLOCKSS. This ensures uninterrupted access to valuable research across the aerospace and engineering communities.
